Official Goodbye and See You Soon!

This has been an amazing journey for me and as many of you already know, it has come to an end. I wanted to write you a quick note to say goodbye. I will no longer be running the social media and blog for the Bounce Back. It has been so wonderful to be part of this journey and I will still be meeting many of you at the screening and premiere. I just wanted to let you know that from now on someone else on the Bounce Back team will be running this blog. They will post updates from time to time after production starts on the movie. Don't be startled if you don't hear from anyone for a while. Right now all of the behind the scenes work is being done to prepare for the film so everyone is a little busy.

Your efforts and dedication to this project are touching and I will never forget this fun adventure we had. Thank you again for all your support and for your friendship. I will see you around as fans of "The Bounce Back" and Shemar Moore, which I will always be.

What an AMAZING Group of Fans!

Well, we did it! The campaign is over and TEAM WORK got it done! We can't tell you how thankful we are for all of your support. It's been an amazing adventure and it's only just beginning. Over the next year, we have a movie to make, fans to meet, your perks to deliver and so much more.

The best part of this journey for me has been the fans. All of you have been such a great example to me of the power of  loyal and devoted fans. Think of the records we broke and the others on the list with us. They did it with twice as many, three times as many, five times as many contributors. That means our 3557 contributors truly believed in the project they were funding. For that, Shemar and his team are truly blessed.

We will continue to update this blog, talk to you via social media, share our production news through every stage and ask for your advice on OUR project. This journey is just beginning and we are excited to share it with you.

The worst part of this for all of you has been not knowing the people behind the scenes. I feel honored to have worked with an amazing team that might not get all the fan attention and their own hashtag like me (I still love #TeamErica), but they are even more important in this process. You all haven't met Staci. She's an amazing screenwriter and the operating hand of this campaign. She has diligently worked behind the scenes and is a delight to know. I hope you all get to meet her this year!

Many of you briefly met our 'Wizard of OZ', the true voice behind the curtain, Ray. He's not only Shemar's manager and best friend, he's also the puppet master of this campaign and an inspiration to all who work closely with him. (Just don't tell him because he's confident enough) ;)

There are so many others that make up the Bounce Back team and we thank every one of them.

I don't know how involved I will be with the film in the future, but I know I will always be part of it as a fan, friend and supporter. Thank you all for this amazing experience, and I can't wait to meet you in person in 2014!

This has been a crazy and beautiful adventure! In an effort to preserve the love and memory of all the hard work from all of the fans world-wide, we are offering you a Bounce Back Memory Book! Similar to a yearbook, it will list all of the donors, have exclusive photos, behind the scenes pictures and much more. We will photograph this journey from beginning to end and chronicle memories that will last a lifetime.  For an ADDITIONAL $50, the cast will sign your yearbook! Add it to your payment under this perk and we will make sure your first signatures are theirs! These will also be ready in time for the premiere so you can collect dedications and signatures from all your new friends on this project (and other celebrities).  It will be a keepsake you'll cherish forever!

For example, "I will pledge $2000 for a professional photo shoot with Shemar". We will collect all the pledges and sort through the ones that are possible. If Shemar accepts or we can confirm your perk, you will be told LIVE on the air during the Video-a-thon (and notified via email). To secure your perk, you must pay your contribution online on Indiegogo DURING the Video-a-thon. Once receipt of your pledge is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation that you have secured your perk!

Certain rules do apply. We ask that you keep it clean and respectful. You must provide your own travel to any event. Your perk should focus on The Bounce Back, it's cast or production since ultimately they are the only things we can commit to with any authority. Any requests for Criminal Minds perks, celebrity friend perks or anything of the like, will only be considered when feasible.

Next Phase: Pre-Production

With the campaign drawing close to the end, my team and I are starting the next phase: PRE-PRODUCTION. We are so thankful for your involvement and would like to continue to reach out to you for your input. After all, you have all been so instrumental in showing your support and enthusiasm and for this, who better to ask to help with creative decisions? We strongly value your opinion as we move forward!

The most important decisions that arise in the beginning stages of planning a film production is CASTING. We already have some of our lead characters, but would like to ask you who your favorite actors are for some of the co-star roles? Who you would like to see star in the BOUNCE BACK film? Who do you see alongside Shemar as his buddy? Who are your favorite female actors?

It has been the week of 300,000! First on Saturday, Shemar reached 300,000 followers on Twitter! Then today, we hit our Sunday goal of $300,000 for the Bounce Back Indiegogo campaign. You are all amazing in your devotion and support to our project and to Shemar Moore. We will never be able to thank you enough.

We have 13 more days and $196,000 to raise. I know we can do it. This has become a quest for all of us that are his fans. I include myself among you! But I'm not just a fan of Shemar Moore, I've become a converted fan of HIS FANS - the BabyGirl Nation! I found myself walking around the house the other day in my BabyGirl cap (which I do NOT wear well) but it somehow made me feel like part of your group - and for that honorary membership, I am honored!

Launching an aggressive social media campaign with the assistance of 49 national bloggers was part of the film's campaign to raise $500,000 through Indiegogo crowd-funding site. Time to Get Serious: Shemar Needs Your Help.

Ok, fans, it’s time to get serious. This whole experience on Indiegogo has been amazing for me. The love and the support has really wowed me, but now we are entering the home stretch. We’ve been having a lot of fun because you know that’s what I’m about, but its time to get to work.

We are only half way to our goal and have 19 days left. It’s crunch time. My staff and I are discussing how we are going to change up the perks and really motivate you, your family, your friends and all fans to help us out. Since we are limited on how many perks we can offer on Indiegogo, some of the perks you see listed will be removed (so if you want one buy it before it’s gone). They will be replaced with new perks that we think you might like. These perks will be more affordable but that means we need to sell more of them to make our goal. We need your help. Hey everyone!

I’m overwhelmed with the response to last night’s Twitter party. 6,261,078 impressions world wide and 12,303 Tweets in one hour! We were a top trending topic in the US and WorldWide on Twitter. I could never have imagined a show of affection that large and intense. I’m still going through the tweets from last night and feel humbled (and a little excited by all of your enthusiasm!) I am thrilled to be joining you on Sunday evening for some more fun and flirting.

Our number on Indiegogo continues to climb thanks to all of you, but we still have a lot of work to do. I’m out right now working hard to find support for our film and continue to need you to do what you’ve been doing. Spread the word, claim some perks for yourself and a friend, tell us what more you think we can offer (within reason). I value your opinion as my loyal fans and I know this film has become a true labor of love for you as well.

12,303 Tweets in One Hour! You all are amazing!

Thank you to everyone that attended last night's Twitter party. Our numbers were incredible and your show of love for Shemar will be talked about around here for a while! I can't even begin to imagine what kind of crowd we will have on Sunday (time to be announced soon) when Shemar is on LIVE with us!

If you had fun and you would like to see more online chats, videos, postings and outreach through social media, you need to make your voice heard AND LOUD. Leave comments, tweets, post on Facebook on the Bounce Back pages and Shemar's pages that you want to have more of this! More access to him and more fan opportunities. You see, the social media world is new to Shemar and his team. I don't want them to take my word for it about the impact this is having on his fans. I want them to hear it from you, so from now until Sunday, let's shout everywhere where Shemar and his managers can hear us. I have access to him and I know he trusts my opinion, but it is YOUR voice that means something to him so you have marching orders!
